A Taste of Thailand

Sawadee Ka or Hello from Bangkok, Thailand. I don't even to know where to begin.

Japan and Thailand are almost polar opposites when comparing Asian cultures. Japan is organized and orderly compared to the intensity of Bangkok. It might have been the fact that our taxi driver dropped us off at the busiest road in Bangkok, which I might compare to an ecstasy users dream. There is almost way too much to write about this city. Chaos, food, tourists, tuk-tuks, Buddhist Monks, Wats (temples), Thai massage, pigeon ladies you want your money.... One of the favorite scam here is a Tuk-Tuk driver trying to offer you a ride for 10 baht (about 10 cents) but then they drive you around to where their friends work and try to get you to buy things. Here is a little video from our Tuk-Tuk ride today that ended with a smoking battery and then having another driver come to pick us up (with the broke down Tuk-tuk tided haphazardly behind us). The one thing I know for sure about Bangkok is that it is a meeting places for all cultures to collide and enjoy what the Thai have to offer.
